ReFramed is Back! Studio Episodes Now Live!
We’re excited to launch a brand new season of ReFramed – Disability In Media, now recorded in a fully equipped studio and available to watch and listen via YouTube and all major podcast platforms. With this new format, the conversations are sharper, the visuals are slicker, and the mission remains the same: to challenge and change how disability is represented on screen.
Hosted by disability advocate and creative Jason Clymo, alongside screenwriter and access consultant Steph Dower, ReFramed is a bold and engaging series that critiques the portrayal of disability in film and television. Each episode takes a deep dive into the way media influences public perception, highlighting both the harmful stereotypes that persist and the moments of authentic representation worth celebrating.
This season features powerful conversations with guests who bring a wealth of insight and lived experience to the table. Joining the hosts are dancer Elvin Lam, screenwriter and comedian Alistair Baldwin, acclaimed artist and former Perspective Shift subject Prue Stevenson, and doctor and advocate Dr Dinesh Palipana. Together, they unpack what it means to be seen—and truly represented—on screen.
Whether you’re a media maker, a fan of film and TV, or simply curious about how stories shape our world, ReFramedinvites you to see disability representation through a new lens.
Tune in, subscribe, and join the conversation as we continue reframing the future of disability in media.
