New media, new approach

30 April 2020

As Attitude Foundation embarks on the next phase of our approach to revolutionise Australian media to be more inclusive of people with disability, we also welcome a new CEO.

Matthew Field comes to Attitude Foundation with a wealth of knowledge and experience in media production and distribution and is ready to get stuck into changing attitudes.

“I’m delighted to be taking up the reins with Attitude Foundation at an exciting time of growth and opportunity following the success of Perspective Shift series on SBS. I’m looking forward to helping the Board and team at Attitude realise their vision of driving real attitudinal change through the development of innovative content that sets a new industry benchmark for inclusivity, accessibility and authenticity.”

Angel Dixon, former CEO, is “proud of the work Attitude Foundation has produced over the last two years and the values we have cemented in our projects. I am especially excited to pass the baton to Matthew who will grow the organisation and the impact of our documentary series in new ways.”

Graeme Innes, Chairperson says, “Angel will continue her significant contribution to attitude change as a member of our board. We thank her for piloting us through a period of growth, development and achievement, and welcome Matt to build on the excellent foundations she has laid.”

Production of Season Two of Attitude Foundation’s documentary series, Perspective Shift is on hold until COVID – 19 regulations are lifted, and our team is comfortable to proceed. In the meantime, Matt and the team have plenty of other projects to work on including extending the reach of Season One of Perspective Shift which aired on SBS TV last year and is still available on SBS On Demand.
